The answer, on your syringe
Pick your barrel — 0.3 mL half-unit, 0.5 mL, 1 mL — and Vial draws the dose to scale with that barrel's real tick spacing. If the draw falls between marks, it says so and tells you the water volume that lands on a clean line.
A guard against the habit
Vial remembers the concentration of your last vial. When the new one is different, it says exactly how different — "1.7× more per unit, drawing to the same mark would be a 1.7× overdose" — before you draw.

What is reconstitution, and why is the math confusing?+
A peptide arrives as dry powder. You add bacteriostatic water to dissolve it, and how much you add decides the concentration — the same vial and the same dose can be 2.5 units or 25 units depending only on the water. On top of that, a "unit" on an insulin syringe is a measure of volume (0.01 mL), not of drug. Vial handles both conversions and shows the result on your actual barrel.
Does Vial tell me what to take?+
No. Vial never recommends a compound, a dose, or a protocol. It calculates what you ask it to calculate, records what you tell it, and flags when a number looks like a units mistake. Which compounds to use and at what dose is between you and a clinician.
Why does it label doses "community" or "unverified"?+
Because most peptide dosing has no clinical trial behind it. Widely repeated numbers often trace back to nothing at all. Other apps present every dose in identical confident type; Vial tells you which ones come from a trial or a drug label and which are convention, so you can weigh them differently.
